Lunch was a hefty meal at Restoran Hock Hua, of Fuzhou style cuisine that's well-known for in Yong Peng town.
The handmade Hock Chew noodles that were first boiled, then stir fried and prepared in the like of Hokkien Mee.
This was popular with the gals while guys preferred gorging on fatty Braised Pork Belly, the 扣肉包.
The Fermented Red Rice Wine Chicken was equally good and there was also a serve of Hock Chew Fishball (福州鱼圆); a type of fishballs with pork meat on the inside.
And last but not least, gelatinous Kong Ba Bao (扣肉包) that EVERYBODY loves to sin on ;)
