We love wanton noodle. Tell us there's one good stall, we'll go. And if it's yet to be, we would just be making 1 wasted trip rather than spend time guessing. This breakfast, we came by the famous Yap Kee Noodles in Holland Drive Food Centre.
Some netizens had candidly pointed out that only their egg noodles are noteworthy; the rest are just mediocre. But we though the seasoning sauce is great; a whiff of nostalgia just transported me back to my old childhood market stall! Other than this... we are pretty sure the hawker needs better control of his noodle cooking technique - the good noodles were wasted as they stick awkwardly together, failing to achieve a toothy and springy texture.
No queue at the stall; you could easily drop in to give a verdict of your own.
