Beijing D2 - Fast Food Meals

For someone much accustomed to China's fare, it seems strange that Beijing's cooking does not appeal to us; instead we were craving for some decently plain fare.

Had McDonald's ¥6 (S$1.20) breakfast set and paid a morning visit to the WangFuJing Cathedral, 东堂 followed by window-shopping along WangFuJing Shopping Streets, 王府井. Nothing to buy despite the largest scale of shopping malls here; we had badly timed and missed their seasonal discount sales where 80-90% off was commonly expected.

Lunch was in comfortable Yoshinoya Japanese Fast Food restaurant. Food helpings were more generous than in Singapore, yummy!

山贼烧鸡排饭 (¥16.50, S$3.25), 招牌牛肉饭套餐 + 茶碗蒸 + 柠檬茶 (¥25, S$5)

Everything was very nice, and cheap!

豆沙粽, 八宝粽 Mini Dumpling dessert (¥4.50, S$0.85)

The "Eight Treasure Dumpling"
