Xiamen D1 : Simple Lunch & Seafood Dinner

Voted as the cosiest and cleanest city of China, we finally arrived in our Xiamen hotel, 金后 after a 30 mins ride of Y$1 on bus no.27 from the airport.

This online bus guide proved to be of much help for our various trips throughout our 9 days holiday in Xiamen -> http://xiamen.8684.cn/.

Our hotel is situated at the end of the busiest shopping street, 中山路 of Xiamen. Famished on arrival, we ate simple at a food court next to the hotel before exploring the IT Streets of 湖滨南路 and 白鹭洲 Park area.

Cold Tapioca Flour Noodles and Zha Jiang Mian (炸酱面).

The Zha Jiang Mian here reminds me of the better version from Du Mama, in Singapore. If you've hasn't try the cold Tapioca noodles, better known as 凉粉, you should, it's good especially during the hot Summer days.

湖滨南路, IT Street

白鹭洲, BaiLuZhou Park area

Then it's dinner at one of the many 大排挡 seafood stalls here. If you loved seafood, you should be here at this coastal city. Total damage of about Y$70+, less than S$20 bucks.

Fried Mee Sua, 炒面线
