Soya Milk Cooking

I've finally succeed using the Soya Bean Maker correctly today, after my previous 2 tries :) I hope to quickly prepare this for Grandmom who is diabetic and is discourage from consuming those sold in the market drink stalls.

Home prepared ones are definitely healthier and guaranteed without any food additives.

2 little cupfuls of Soya Beans had inflated after being soaked over the night, and they are now ready for use.

The whole cooking process that includes water boiling, bean grinding and boiling up the final product takes approx. 13mins only.

And it's rather therapeutic to watch the cooking process, somewhat like baking a cake. Especially a sight when the Soya milk oozes out of the grinder :)

Of course, some manual work involving sifting of the cooked Soya milk before its fine grains could be all removed before consuming are unavoidable.

And the tedious process of washing up the stubborn residues of the Soya off the cooker. But i guess i've grown quite used to it.

And it's certainly worth doing all these for a big pot of hot aromatic Soya milk - Pure, without any food additives, for the whole family.
