A food centre that's buzzing with life as evening dawns is our choice for dinner. Lively and busy dining ambience chases away any dullness you may have over the weekends.
Seated by the nearest pavilion to the seaside, we relaxed by the gentle cooling breezes. But this was of course, after all the tiring queues at those popular food stalls :)
Cuttlefish Kanggong ($4)
We had planned to order from the BBQ stall for its Stingray seafood and Oyster Omelet Egg with rice but i couldn't resist joining the queue at our pet Mei Qi Cuttlefish Kanggong and Meng Kee Satay Bee Hoon.
Satay Bee Hoon ($3)
Maybe other time; maybe Singaporean simply love to queue, haha...
Expect also to queue at the famous Song Kee Fried Oysters and Ah Hwee BBQ Chicken Wing. The chicken wings, though at an inflated price of $1.20 per piece still draws a crowd.
