It was our plan to shop around 中山路 before ferry over to Gulangyu Islet to explore its coastal belt of historic buildings and catch a piano performance in its Concert Hall by the late evening.
To me, Gulangyu is probably the most interesting place in Xiamen.

After all, this island is nicknamed the Piano Island having the highest density of piano than any other city in China, it also houses Asia's largest piano museum - a must visit (we visited it during our 1st visit to the island, 3 years ago).
These are just some of the photos which i like. I am for one, ever fascinated by old buildings.
