Exploration of 集美 Tourist Area that commemorates philanthropist, educator and millionaire Tan Kah Kee 陈嘉庚 with his establishment of Jimei University, that's part of his set up of Jimei Study Village.
His tomb and former residence were also the tourist attractions.
Buildings of Jimei Study Village that are a combination of eastern and western styles, facing the beautiful seashore are what that draws me here today.
Shopping at SM Mall later in the day reaps nothing for us.
