Xiamen D2 - Favourite Bakery USM

As we roam the streets by our hotel, we chanced upon this line-up of bakery shops. 4 brands of bakery shops greeted us, but we decide to buy from USM because it's the one shop that smells strongly of baked bread :)

Ric suggested getting Doremon's favourite of Dorayaki, 铜罗烧 (Y$3.50) and it was yummy, buttered between fresh cream were beads of red beans!

Days later, I had the 铜罗烧 again (no photos again, as i can't wait to eat it) before we board the plane home. The above are the Red Bean bun (Y$3) and Yam bun (Y$6.50), packed home for mom :)

Can't buy much as they have a short expiry date of 2 days, at most. There are many more creative buns and cakes in the shop but we are none too adventurous.
