双厨,Two Chefs Eating Place

I'm the crazy one who wants to drive round Krangi then decide on wimp to dine in Commonwealth. Dinner was at Blk 116, Commonwealth Crescent, 双厨菜馆 who offers affordable Cze Char dishes.

Raw Cockles ($6)

The cold dish of Cockles was drowned in heaps of minced Garlic, Chilli and Soya sauce mixture. Though tasty to some, we find the mix overwhelming, overpowering the fresh taste of Cockles we love.

One plus, the shell came clean as a whistle, no traces of mud found.

Butter Pork Rib ($8)

We were amazed with the absolute tenderness of the meat textures here. But being overly tenderized thus losing its meaty bite.

Many boasted of the Butter concocted recipe, but we beg to differ. We were less upbeat with this creative dish that tastes strongly of Milk Powder sweetness.

Fried Yam ($6)

It was this savory dish that won us over ultimately. A worthy try. And yes, we would be back to try some other dishes of these 2 Malaysian Chefs and their friendly waitresses.

Heard their Coffee Pork Rib is good?
