"P.S. I Love You" is a 2007 American romantic comedy that i feel would be great for this holiday season viewing.
It touches me in the way the husband had planned ways for his wife to go on with life after he passed on. And this could perhaps be the most consoling arrangement for our surviving spouse.
With letters and presents arriving to the wife (with help from the monther-in-law) by the days and on her birthday, it showed him as one who knew her so well, as to anticipate her moods and whims. These comforting letters guided her on her pathway to a new life... as she slowly gets over the death of her loving husband.
Of course, in real life this could be a very different situation. But for once, let's just indulge in these romantic fairytales.
It is indeed, one of the best romantic comedies in a long while... Go watch it with your loved one this holiday :-)
