Indian Rojak at Bedok Corner

Indian Rojak Assortment ($8)

Arriving at Bedok Food Centre at 3pm, we were getting hungry after our short trip to the city; at this hour, are we having late lunch or early dinner!? "Let's have some Indian Rojak." Ric decided.

"Ok. Since the Hokkien Mee stall is not yet open..."

Ric always order at least 2 Potatoes for his Indian Rojak; he loves them very much. And today's one was very well done, he said ;)

 

If you are new to Indian Rojak, they are somewhat like the Chinese 五香灌肠. Have your selection from the display of assorted deep-fried Fritters (plain, eggs, prawns, coconut), Bean curb, Potato, Fish cake and, if you wish, red boiled Sotong (squid)!

Pass it back to the stall owner who shall deep-fried every item you choose and serve them to your table with sweet and spicy potato dipping sauce..!

For me? Prawns fitters, Fishcake and boiled Sotong are always a welcoming treat!
