Cranberry Cheese Bread ($4.20)
Bread Society at basement of Singapore's most prominent Ion Orchard Mall was yet another money spinning arm of Bread Talk. Given it's sophisticated furnishing, window presentation and high pricing, you can't help raising expectations on their offerings.
But what disappointment.
If you are one like me who insists on the quality of flour for your bread, Bread Society was a damper; at least my loaf today is.
The coarse and airy flour textures are that of bake from neighbourhood $1.30 buns; you could well tell by the pictured. Cheese was good though, maybe that's what i'm paying for?
