红豆大饼, China styled

Red Bean Pancake ($3.80)

Visiting China, you would be dumbfounded by their astronomical selection of Chinese desserts/ snacks and our limited knowledge on their food culture.

Generally there is no separate part of a Chinese meal that is reserved for eating dessert in China. Home to many sweet dessert foods, it was served either as part of a meal or more commonly as a snack.

Red Bean Pancake was one of the most common and well accepted desserts from China. Chinese Delicacies in NTU, Canteen 1 does a lovely rendition of it and many other simple Chinese snacks. Some are better done than the others though; their red beans pancake so good. We be checking them out.
