And we were overwhelmed by their warm service here. Despite their modest setup, we were encouraged to taste their ice-cream before we decide on the flavors to buy. One, two, three flavors we tasted and Tom do not mind :)
At the smallest order of the $2.50 cupful, we were allowed to have 2 flavours. Our 1st cup was of the Mango and Apple Pie ice-cream.
The Apple Pie was the outstanding one with textured of apple filling and shortbread crust, spiced with cinnamon. Following these we had the nutty Buttered Pecans and bitter Chocolate Stout; then a repeat order for the Apple Pie and Chocolate Stout that we had not enough of, Yummy.
With similar density and taste to Gelato, i'm surprised we were eating Ice-Cream.
And Tom had offered us a taste of the Lavender (It's flowery! You could imagine your breath overrunning with flowers as you speak!), Granny's Favourite (Ric's favourite), Rum & Raisins (Sensation of alcoholic burn as an aftertaste!), Pink Guava, Berries, Chocolate...
Tom was proud of introducing their pain-stakingly produced ice-cream and I'm eating more ice-cream than i had intended to have today :) bloated.
And Mom's eye brighten as Tom rattled off flavors of ice-cream they were going to have for the coming days, namely, Lemon grass, Wasabi Lime, Coconut... a housewife's kitchen fantasy :)
Brimming over with creativity juices, this ice-cream parlour makes you want to return for their daily surprises.
