Guang Xing Slice Fish Bee Hoon

The Sliced Fish Bee Hoon of this stall at Changi Village food centre was constantly on my mind. And whenever i was in Changi, i simply had to pop in to see if they were open for business.

It was worthy of my coming all the way into Changi Village just to have my bowl of simple, yet wholesome meal. Risking all disappointment, i was very glad to see the line of queue fronting the stall today, as this was prove of their operation.
This stall does not have fixed off-days; the owner would not open his stall if he does not get the type of fish he wants that morning. So the fate of our trip here usually hangs by the thread :)

But i just couldn't get enough of their well textured fish sliced that was so fresh, soft yet chewy at the same time. I have not found a similar one elsewhere.

Yes, chewy was the very description of the fish. And it taste superb with their special chilli concoction.
Prices had gone up to $4 from the $3 bowl. I had enough though, as of now.
