The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was a fig tree!? Read here for more mention of fig tree in the Bible.
If you were in Israel or Turkey for a short trip, you MUST bring back some of these largest dried fig fruits i've ever seen! 3 pieces overloaded my palm; they were not dry but heavily moist and filled with crunchy seeds within. Lovely.
Wasn't gifted a huge quantity of this. And so am nibbling it sparingly ;)
