Long before Fish & Chips Western Food Set became so readily available and affordable in our hawker stalls, Long John Silver had been serving us well, until price competitiveness rides in. Long John even introduced Fish Jr (smaller sized fish fillet) to help keep prices down.
In celebration of their 41 anniversary, Long John is running a combo set promotion teamed 1 Fish Jr, 1 Chicken served with Crispy Fries and Coke/Sprite. It's of good value, and taste.
Junk food, it is, but we enjoyed it ;)
Beware though, of them asking if you would like "Lemon Tea" for your drink option. They never mention the different in price you've got to fork up. Never. And we hate such ploy.
